I want to change. I need to change. I'm gradually losing touch with myself.
Adultery, the provocative new novel by Paulo Coelho, best-selling author of The Alchemist and Eleven Minutes, explores the question of what it means to live life fully and happily, finding the balance between life's routine and the desire for something new.
I consider this one of the very good books by Paulo Coelho. However, it’s different from his usual writing style. The first thing that caught my interest about this book was that it took a very common yet delicate matter. The question is: If you have everything you wished for in life within your hands, will you be happy? And if not, will it be considered evil of you to feel unfulfilled.
Linda has everything, the best husband, the best kids, the best house. Just name it. Yet, Linda is very unhappy. She is bored. To this point some people might find the book silly. To me, this was the most intriguing issue and also the most real one. Now, as Linda embarks on her journey to find the feelings she was missing, we are sharing this adventure with her.
Some people might find this book striking as it’s very different from what Paulo Ceolho used to write. I find the book very real and very intriguing. I really love it.
